Amazing Street Art: Mae Salong

Mae Salong in the Northern highlands of Thailand is both stunning and somewhat unique in that it is home to ethnic Chinese people. This village has steep, narrow streets which host a large array of wall art, from the cute to the striking. There are numerous tea shops and eateries that sell/serve the local oolong tea grown at the numerous tea plantations. It is well worth a visit!

Using digital tools to enhance your art is exciting and so easy! There are multiple free apps to explore that will help you to create a variety of artwork. You can change the colour, mood, style, composition, size, shape and more. Once you start, it can be quite addictive! Here are the steps to take: Step 1. Choose a selection of your art to digitally enhance. Step 2. Use the Canva app to make your art more funky and ‘Pop Art-ish’. Add your original art photograph, go to filters at the bottom, go to Color Pop, and select Outrun. Step 3. Use a collage app to merge your art pieces in to different compositions. I like InShot which has an AI blend option. It allows you to manipulate and change the artistic composition in a variety of ways, which looks less like a collage and more like artwork. Step 4.
